    Since this will be my first WCM, and it might seem like a silly question, but here goes……What I should bring to the melee?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Mike;

    Absolute requirenments…deodorant and toothpaste/toothbrush/breath mints…asprin of some kind (ASL candy)…money to buy food. :D And get plenty of rest ahead of time…you are going to be staying up late, getting up early, and will be mentally drained at the end of each day.

    Bare minimum, bring your rules and dice.

    Beyond that, whatever you are comfortable with. There is usually plenty of space around your table to store your kit, so don't worry about not having any place to put your kit while you are playing.

    Oh…and Friday night is costume night, so you might want to start planning for that now. Cicero has already reserved the Baby Hughie costume, I've got my pimp costume, Visnowski's got dibbs on the Bukowski role, Simonsen is always the pregnant nun (time for something new, Paul!), and Jim always surprises us with some kind of Vegas showgirl getup replete with massive headgear (the ostrich feathers make me sneeze).

    Short answer: Everything. :)

    Seriously, the Officers have been discussing this for a few days now. This year we are expecting at least a half-dozen out-of-town attendees to be flying in. Most of them will have only a minimal amount of their set with them. I'd like to see all of our members who are driving make an effort to bring as much of their kit as is practicable. I don't expect members to loan stuff out, necessarily. But I'm hoping that our members will have their sets at their own disposal should they be paired with an out-of-town opponent.

    Attendees be advised : The area hotel is located in is a virtual Ghost Town after about 8 or 9 pm.If you need any snacks ,drinks sundry items meds etc, make sure you either bring with you or make an early run for them on arrival.There is NOTHING for quite a long distance after 10 pm..
