Well, everything is in place. The doors will open at noon tomorrow (Thursday). I’m sure you’ve been busy tuning up your ASL kits, and getting ready, because we have a great event lined up. We’re expecting the largest attendance since 9-11.
I have one request for everyone who is planning to attend. As always, I have printed name badges for those who have pre-registered. (Those who haven’t will get to borrow a sharpie so they can make their own.) In previous years, I haven’t made too much about wearing badges during the event, and usually by Saturday very few are in evidence. However, this year we have an unusually large number of out-of-town attendees. We have also accumulated 12 new members since the last WCM. It would be helpful to everyone if you could continue to wear a name badge throughout the event. It will go a long way to help the veterans learn new members’ names, and vice versa. And it will help our out-of-town guests feel more welcome.
See you tomorrow!
