We had 5 members and another visitor for the November OC Game Day in Brea.
Stephan's Tourville's Swedish Volunteers defeated Blair Bellamy's Germans in “Lions and Tin Men” from the Swedish Volunteers Pack.
And Bill Yuen and I proved victorious when our Americans/Germans/French defeated Eric Visnowski's SS in “Last Stand of the Besotten Jenny”. This was my second time playing the scenario this month, after taking the SS two weeks ago against Geoff. EV's dice were uncharacteristically unkind to him in this scenario. It was still a very close game.
We were joined late in the day by Chris Collette, who promised to see us in Gameology in two weeks.
We had our usual lunch at Millie's. Very nice as always. That's really working out rather well; a lot like Marie Calendar's at the old Gameology location; plenty of selection and reasonable prices.
As I've previously announced, there will be no San Diego Game Day this month. Our next event will be at Gameology in two weeks. I hope you all have a happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday.
