All;
We had a solid turnout of 6 members for our San Fernando Game Day at Dave Rosner’s house yesterday.
Bill Yuen and I paired up for “Mai Phuâ€, with my French holding out against Bill’s Japanese. Bill showed how he’s come so far as a player in a relatively short time; he’s not afraid to tackle anything. In this scenario (his second PTO) he had to handle 2 planes, an OBA Module and six radioless tanks. This was a cool scenario with a lot of stuff going on. And we both thought it was worth playing again.
Blair Bellamy and Eric Visnowski paired up in “The Black Devils of Anzioâ€, a real barn-burner of a scenario that looks pretty tough for both sides. EV’s Americans proved victorious over Blair’s Germans.
And Rob Stai took on Dave Rosner in “A Helping Handâ€, with Rob’s Germans defeating David’s Americans.
We had quick and convenient lunch at Subway. I want to extend thanks for Dave Rosner hosting this event. The clubhouse we played in was plenty big and comfortable. We will be doing more of these San Fernando Game Days (hosted by either Dave or Bill Yuen) as the opportunity arises in the coming months.
