We had five members at The Red Barricades Project today, including an appearance by one of our newest members, John Lehman. Dan Plachta and Stephan Tourville commanded the Germans against me and Jim Cotugno with the Russians.
Today we set up the October 22nd CG Date, and got underway right after lunch. By the time we wrapped up at 5:30 we had covered 1.5 turns. Highlights of turn one: the Russians fire a pre-registered rocket barrage that manages to miss *everything*. A German 10-3 advances into the Commissars House with two squads to kill off a defending concealed 5-2-7 Russian squad, but hits an 8 factor mine on the way in and Pins on a normal MC. The 5-2-7 ambushes the 10-3 and escorting squad and kills them both.
Looks like it going to be another bloody day in the Barricades!
