We had three players in attendance for the November edition of the San Diego Game Day. Dave Perham, back from a long period of employment in the Middle East, took the attacking Germans in the Journal 10 scenario “Cradle to Grave†against me and Steve Thorne as the Americans/Partisans. This is an interesting scenario. The partisan force needs to block the on-coming Germans while keeping their own casualties to a minimum.
As it turns out, we were only able to play about half the scenario, and noted everything down to take up at a later date.
We enjoyed our usual lunch at Farmer Boys, where we were joined by Steve’s son Scott, Scott’s daughter Allie, and Steve’s wife Julie.
I’m looking forward to wrapping this one up another time; it’s shaping up to be a good scenario. Stay tuned!
