I'm fairly (90%) sure I'll be making the BBQ this year, so I thought I'd post my scenario “short list” for the event in hopes of drumming up an opponent or two. Listed in order of preference, and I'll be glad to provide copies of any game materials (scenario cards, SSR, mini-maps) for my opponent if necessary:
CH BERLIN 8 – Gotterdammerung (assault on the Reichstag, 13 turns, 40+ squads per
side, tanks, guns, on-board rockets, OBA, historical map)CH Tigers to the Front 4 – Tigers on The Balcony (9 turns, 25+ squads per side,
guns, 20+ vehicles, OBA for both sides, historical map)J93 The Porechye Bridgehead
VOTG 12 – Siberian Shockwave
HOB OM7 – Too Little, Too, Light (Crete, 13 turns; first 4 are Night, 25+ squads per
side, OBA, Gliders, CAS, historical map)VOTG 17 – On the Verge of Extinction
HOW 10 – In The Bag (Bulge, 8 turns, 3 geo boards, 40+ vehicles; Germans suffer from
gas shortages, OBA for both sides)Not a one, so I won't be attending. I have some additional work to keep me busy that weekend anyway.
