I had a great session at the recent LA game day and have been getting more game time in through VASL. The other night, I was playing another new member, Nick, and we had a question about moving with a leader.

If a squad moving with a leader is interrupted in the middle of their move by DFF, and the result is that the leader is wounded (reducing his MF to 3) – can they continue the remaining movement for their full 6 MF or is the wounded leader unable to contribute his MF bonus from that point forward.

I think we completed the move, since the stack had 2 MF remaining and the argument was, it was 'less than the 3 MF of the wounded leader' but this was a workaround.

    Thanks,

The leader still adds his bonus to the stack but his reduced movement will cause the stack to have to choose…move only as far as the leader can move or dump the bum and move its normal leader-less movement. The real question is whether, mid-move, the stack can pick up the leader (5PP) and continue on! Stack still gets the leader's move bonus eventhough he is a sack of potatoes over a grunt;s shoulder. For a typical squad the 5PP reduces movement to 2MF but the leader bonus jumps it to 4MF. Add in CX to all of this and you really get to have some fun!
