    We've all heard the tales of woe inflicted upon us by the VASL dicebot…it's proclivity to “streaks” and the infamous snakes/boxcars proximity. A couple of years ago, I stopped complaining about the dicebot (and dice in general) and took the Zen approach of accepting whatever the dicebot/dice dished out, doing my best not to complain.

    Well, tonight saw the reward for my dicebot patience…I had a German 37L ATG go on a rate tear of …wait for it…13 rate shots!!!!

    Still sitting here in a near state of shock…and it hits me…I JUST USED UP ALL OF MY RATE SHOTS FOR WCM…I WON'T HAVE ANY LUCK LEFT AT ALL!!! :) ha ha ha

    My dice are equal opportunity offenders…plenty of streaks of both good and bad rolls.

    This is actually not as rare an occurance as one might think. A ROF3 weapon will get 13 shots off 1 in 8192 tries.

    If you actually look at the rolls, it was not 13 rate shots in a row…roll for hit, roll for effects, roll MC's/PTC's/CS/SAN/etc….actually a lot of dice rolling in between each of the rate shots (and a lot of the effects rolls were high rolls, and a few of the rate shots were misses), so I'm guessing that my rate tear was not that statistically rare.

    But what do I know, I can barely pass a math class! !amazed

    Don't worry about it…my wife still teases me that you beat me in the game we played at my house. :D That has to be worth more than a dicing. Between her at home, and Cicero here, I get nothing but abuse. :)
