I had this question come up last year and twice again this year at WCM. Can an AFV simply change its TCA or VCA if it has an eligible CMG or BMG that has not fired after the MA is done. without risking either a MALF or a SAN?

D31.2 … The TCA may change … at the end of any friendly tire phase in which the AFV is eligible to fire (a turret-mounted weapon for TCA or turret/bow-mounted weapon for VCA) without using Intensive Fire (as per C3.22). …

If the AFV has a CMG that remains unfired, the rule says that the AFV can change it TCA (or the whole shebang for a NT vehicle); if the AFV has an unfired BMG, the VCA can change, both without rolling the dice for a SAN or malfunction possibility. What is your read on this and C3.22?

You are correct here other than the typo in the rules reference. Most people refer to C.322 where it says Gun, but here it says weapon.

After a vehicle gets done shooting, it should be tired!
