We had another great day at Gameology on Saturday in Montclair, with 8 games played by 12 members (and a cameo appearance by Matt Cicero).

Dan Plachta’s Americans defeated Bill Yuen’s Germans in “Man Against Tanks”. In a rematch, Bill’s German’s defeated Dan’s Russians in “Clash at Borisova”.

Stephan Tourville’s Russians beat Larry Rohlfing’s Germans in “Last Ally, Last Victory”.

Rob Stai’s Japanese defeated Mike Cirincione’s Americans in “Battlin’ Buckeyes”.

My Russians defeated Jeff Franson’s Germans in “The God of War”.

Eric Visnowski’s Germans fell to Glenn Sellar’s Canadians in “The Good Shepherd”.

Blair Bellamy’s Germans defeated Candice Juliano’s Brits in “2nd Cristot”. This was the conclusion of a scenario they started at the May Game Day in Brea. Candice got her revenge later that day when her Americans beat Blair’s Germans in “Rimling Roundup”.

We adjourned in mid-afternoon for pizzas ordered from Papa John’s. This lunch option seems to be working out pretty well; the cost per person is averaging about $5 – $6, and we’re able to eat right in the store. Everyone was able to get a little socializing in without the extra wait for table service. As it turned out, most of the games wrapped up before closing, and many of the members hung around chatting and watching the two remaining games (“Good Shepherd” and “Last Ally”). As always, it was a great time.

The July Game Day falls on the 4th. The store will be open that day, and the members in attendance voted to hold the Game Day on the 4th, even if attendance might be a little light because of the holiday.
