    Hello Everyone,

This past Saturday I attended St. Crispin's Hobby Game Day in Anaheim that is put on monthly and sponsored by Brookhurst Hobbies, also located in Anaheim. The event takes place every 2nd Saturday of the month. It is held at the Knights of Columbus Building in Anaheim. The event is FREE, but they do sell lunch and dinner for $5.00 each, and they sell soda's and other drinks for $1.00. Plus they have a raffle which they sell raffle tickets to. The proceeds go the the Knights of Columbus which they use to give to charity and feed the hungry, It is a nice venue, with nice people. Most people play Warhammer, Flames of War, and D&D as well as other board games.

Anyways, I talked to the people who run the event monthly, and they said that they would love to have ASL players attend. If anyone is interested in possibly starting a regular event at the St. Crispin's Hobby Day, please let me know.

I will post information off of their site below for those of you who may be interested.

    Thanks everyone,
    Chris Collett

    Hey Chris,

This is a great tip. Maybe we can put a team together and check out their January meeting. We can chat about it on Saturday at the Brea Game Day.

Well I saw this great review of our humble monthly Hobby Day. First off I want to welcome anyone who wants to come in Jan. Our doors open at 8 AM and gaming starts around 9 AM to 11:30 PM.

We do cover a wide variety of games. Some of them includes “Flames of War” and many other historical miniatures and board games.

We also are a regular place to play in the Official Catalyst games events for “Battletech” yes Battletech it is alive and thriving. But it isn't your grandmas version it is using the new “Tota lWarFare ” rules with the Official Miniatures rules for non hexed but terrain play.

There is also Navel miniatures gaming and role playing games in the evening. For a official Newsletter contact Harmon Ward at HJW@Pacbell.net or for to come and see updated info at our site at Meetup.com here is the link…..

Again thank you for all the positive input and we hope to be the best independent event in our area.
