August 7 Los Angeles Game Day at Gameology AAR

Greetings all,

We had 7 players in attendance for the August edition of the Los Angeles Game Day at Gameology:

Rob Stai’s French defeated Glenn Sellar’s Germans in the classic early war scenario “Strangers in a Strange Land”.

The Germans commanded by Dan Plachta and Karl Von Voigt defeated Blair Bellamy’s British in “Battlegroup Nor Mans”.

And Eric Visnowski’s Russians held off my Germans’ desperate last turn lunge for the hilltop in “Parry and Strike” from the new “Out of the Attic II”. This is a real barn-burner of a scenario and we had a lot of fun, as Eric and I always do when we pair up.

We adjourned for our usual lunch at The Hat. That just never gets old. Everyone had a great time.
