Greetings ASL Fans;
We had 5 members in attendance for our December ASL Game Day at Gameology:
My Japanese defeated Drew Simon’s Chinese in “The Marco Polo Bridge Incidentâ€. This is an interesting scenario where the Japanese start out on the attack, but then must hold the gains against a substantial Chinese counter-attack. The VC’s gives points to the Japanese for prisoners and buildings. Because the Japanese are badly outnumbered, and most of their initial force is guarding prisoners, they need to avoid CC to win.
Meanwhile, Eric Visnowski and Blair Bellamy teamed up against Dan Plachta’s Germans in the Primisole Bridge scenario “A Nice Morning for a Rideâ€. After battling until 11:30 PM Dan’s Germans proved victorious over EV and Blair’s Brits. Nice that the new owners of Gameology aren’t in any hurry to get home.
