October 3rd Game Day at Gameology AAR

Kyle L. and David K. paired up to play the revamped Agony of Doom
with Kyle's attacking Soviets streaming out of the woods in an attempt
to grab board 3 real estate. Kyle had some early gains,but when the battle
was over, David's defending German force won the day [ and the game ]

On the western front , Dan P and John L waged war in ESG's” Blasting Through”.
This one is all about exiting German trucks [ Dan P. ] through a screen of Ami's
[ John L ] with both sides having combined arms.Dan effectively reduced the defenders
and was able to exit the trucks for the win, temporarily halting Operation Anvil

In further west front action Scott T and me traded shots in the Schwerpunkt
scenario ” Yankee Pride “.This is a 6 turn “fast and furious' contest with Scott's
G.I.'s tasked with muscling in on 2 of 3 German held goals.Scott was very aggressive
in his attack, but my shots were unerring.as my low DR streak continued. NMCs and 2 MCs
tend to do a lot of damage to morale 6 G.I.Joes.. Basically, I got every DR I needed.
in this tough challenge. I was able to secure the win and totally demoralize and
humiliate Scott.[ kidding !! ] Even with the uneven DR contest ,we had a good time
,as we always do and I am sure Vengeance is riding on swift wings.

We adjourned for the standard fine lunch at The Hat,where I tried something new
for a change,hot dog and chili tamale.Jesus. Haha.
