Dave Nicholas' Germans defeated Scott Thompson's Russians in “Elephants Unleashed”.

Blair Bellamy and Dan Plachta paired up for the Rally Point scenario “Cat Chow”, with Dan's Russians defeating Blair's Germans.

Eric Visnowski's Germans defeated Dave Kocot's Americans in the Deluxe scenario “Charging Chaumont”.

Matt and Roman Cicero paired up for some father-son combat. In their first scenario Matt's Americans defeated Roman's Germans in “Prelude to Festung Brest”. In their second scenario Matt's Germans pulled off a last CC DR victory over Roman's Americans in “Retaking Vierville”.

Jim Svette and I paired up for the Friendly Fire scenario “Abbyville Bridgehead”. Jim hung in there with his French troops, and even though it looked pretty bad for him by turn 6. But he turned it around and made a successful dash into the final victory building on the last French movement phase. My Germans failed to drive him out, and Jim gained a hard-won, and well earned, victory.

And while that was going on, Blair set up a demo game with Gameology's owner, Kevin. Nick later picked up the game from Blair when his game with Scott cleared. We made our usual trip to The Hat for our usual excellent lunch. All and all it was another great day of ASL!
