Guys;
I just found out this morning that I have been accepted for a fall internship to work on an oral history project on the Marine Corps Air Station El Toro. While I do not yet know all of the details, I do know that the project is covering the life of the base from WWII until its closure with emphasis on interviews of personnel that served on the base and neighboring civilians.
Those of you that served there, please drop me a note and let me know what unit you served with and the dates. I will then take them to my controller/coordinator and see about arranging possible interviews.
