    Greetings all;

    For anyone who might be interested: we have scheduled our Club trip the Littlefield Museum in San Jose for Saturday, May 22nd. We are planning to fly up that morning, take the 1:00 PM tour, and fly back in the evening via Southwest Airlines. The roundtrip cost to San Jose airport (including tax) is $119 from SAN, LAX or Burbank. Additional costs would be an approximately $10 – $15 contribution toward a car rental to shuttle us from the airport to the museum and back, $20 museum entry fee, and whatever money you choose to spend for food throughout the day.

    The museum allows up to 30 people per tour. The May 22nd afternoon tour already had a group of 20 scheduled, and they allowed me to reserve the remaining 10 for our Club. We currently have 7 members definitely going (myself, Rob Feinstein, Mike Soffa, E.V., Stance and his wife, and Dave Nicholas). That still leaves 3 openings for anyone among our membership who might wish to attend.

    If you are interested in going, please let me know at your earliest convenience. I plan to contact the museum this coming Monday, May 3rd, with a final head count.

    If you want to see what you might be missing, check out: http://www.mvtf.org. The “Military Vehicle Technology Foundation”, or Jacques Littlefield Museum, has a substantial collection of W.W. II vehicles in running order, and has been featured on the History Channel.

    Regards,

    Jim
