    We had a solid seven players in attendance for the December edition of our Monthly Game Day at Gameology. Our seven players included Jeff Toney, who recently relocated to Victorville and made the drive down to join us.

    Jeff paired up with Dan Plachta in the old Bounding Fire scenario “Inch by Inch”. In and all-day battle, Dan’s Americans defeated Jeff’s Germans.

    Dave Nicholas’ Germans defeated Ed Esparza’s Russians in classic Annual scenario “Slamming of the Door”.

    And Mike Soffa took the Germans against me and Eric Visnowski as the Brits in “Messenger Boys” from Journal 10. Mike played a great game, but his dice betrayed him on the next to last turn and that allowed our Brits to push into the Victory buildings for a win. We all thought scenario was well worth the effort; fun, interesting, balanced and playable in one day. We all agreed we’d play this one again, as either side.

    We made our usual trek to The Hat for an excellent mid-afternoon lunch, and wrapped up around 9:30 PM.

    Jeff Toney relocating to Victorville offers intriguing possibilities since I will be spending a lot of time in Palmdale over the net few months.
