    Holiday Greetings All;

    We had 14 players in attendance at the December LA Game Day at Gameology. In no particular order:

    Glenn Sellar’s Brits defeated Blair Bellamy’s Germans in “Monty’s Gamble”

    Stephan Tourville’s Germans beat Mike Cirrincione’s Russians in “Worker’s Settlement #8”.

    Glenn and Stephan then matched up in that oldie but goodie, “Silent Death” but ran out of time to finish.

    Mike Cirrincione and Blair Bellamy paired up in “Clearing Carentan”, with Blair’s Americans falling to Mike’s Germans.

    Dan Platcha and I squared off for the first time in quite a while. We got in two scenarios. My Russians defeated Dan’s Germans in a new VoTG Night scenario “Urban Nightmare”. In our second game, my Russians again beat Dan’s Germans in “Der Letzte Geburtstag”.

    Rob Stai’s Germans defeated Dave Rosner’s Brits in “Fourth Bridge”.

    Geoff Coward’s Russians beat Mike Soffa’s Germans in “Marders not Martyrs”.

    Eric Visnowski fell to Bill Yuen in the classic Deluxe scenario “Guryev’s Headquarters”.

    Chris Collett, a new player we met in Brea last month, joined us; pairing up with Todd Schallberg in his first scenario “Hammer to the Teeth” from SK 2. Todd’s Germans proved victorious over Chris’ Americans.

    We made our way to The Hat for a very enjoyable lunch.

    It was another great day of ASL.

    Regards,

    Jim

    I just wanted to thank EVERYONE that helped me learn ASL who was in attendance at this months December LA Game Day. I had a great time, the funnest game I have played in a LONG time. Like I told those in attendance, I have wanted to find someone to play ASL with since I was 12 or 13 years old, and that was over 20 years ago! So thank you everyone for a great time. Trust me, you will be seeing a LOT more of me at the upcoming events!

    Just a side note: I live in the Fullerton area, so if there is anyone interested in meeting up sometime to play outside of the regular game days, please send me an email!!!

    Thanks again,
    Chris Collett

    Chris;

    I live in West Fullerton…Malvern & Gilbert…drop me a note at scott.thompson1@kraft.com and we can arrange a game. Once I get through with finals on the 17th, I'll have time to get in some games again.

    Semper Fi!
