I was going to summarize the cave rules next, but there are two good articles available that do a better job explaining it than I could ever do:

Cariaga, Dade. “Spelunking 101: Tips on Cave and Cave Complex Setups.” ASL Annual 96.
Tracy, J.R. “Assaulting a Cave Complex: A One-Turn Study of Kakazu Ridge.” ASL Journal #2.

The 96 annual article is more about setup. The J2 article is more about the mechanics of attacks vs. caves, and is invaluable, IMO. J.R.'s article is especially invaluable, IMO.
