We had a solid 8 members attending the July edition of our ASL Game Day at Gameology:
Dan Plachta’s Brits defeated Blair Bellamy’s Germans in “Going Against the Grainâ€.
Nothing went right for Scott Thompson’s Kiwis as they faced Eric Visnowski’s Germans in the Deluxe scenario “Kiwi’s Attackâ€. Scott's dice started out bad, and continued to get worse without letup. They finally pulled the plug and called this a German win.
Kyle Li’s Brits defeated Nick Nicholas’ Germans in the SK scenario “Monty’s Gambleâ€. And because their game got over quickly enough, they paired up again for Kyle’s first armor battle; “Clash at Borisovkaâ€, with Kyle’s Russians falling to Nick’s Germans.
Dave Kocot wanted to try a Night scenario, something I always enjoy, so we pair up for the classic “Taking the Left Titâ€, which I had never previously played. Dave caught on quickly, and scored a win as the Americans over my Germans in the very last movement phase.
And because our game got over at a decent hour, we paired up again, this time joined by Eric, for one of my favorites; “Hornet of Clovilleâ€, where my Germans defeated Dave and EV’s Americans.
We had our usual excellent lunch at the Hat, and wrapped it up right at 10:00 PM. It was another fun-filled day of ASL!
