    Hello all,

    I attended the last Los Angeles game day, and I will be attending regularly from now on. For all of you there last time that helped me, thanks again for being so patient and kind. You have me HOOKED now on this game.

    I am looking to buy BEYOND VALOR 3rd Edition, and I was wondering if anyone had a copy that they would be willing to sell me. I have Starter Kit #1 and #2, and I have decided to take the advice of a few members that suggested that I purchase Beyond Valor instead of Starter Pack #3 (ASLSK #3 is not available from MMP anyways at this time). I already have the ASL 2nd Ed Rulebook, so all I need is Beyond Valor to get up to date.

    If anyone has a copy they could part with, please let me know. Or, if the club has a copy to sell, please let me know.

    I can't wait to play again. I may try to make it out on Dec. 26th to play with you all. Hope to play soon!!

    Does it have to be the 3rd edition? I have an extra first edition I can part with.

    I know that the scenerios are different between 1st and 3rd edition, but what about the counters? Are the counters the same in the different editions?

    To get me started, I suppose 1st edition would be ok. How much do you want for it?

    I was going to pay the fees to officially join the club as a member at the last LA Game day, but it was suggested to me that I wait to join until the Melee in Feb. Is there a 3rd edition Beyond Valor available for members? If so, I could join to be able to pick that up.

    Hey Chris,

    I believe there are two differences with the counters, 1) they are a smaller font…depiction and the Finns are blue (german blue) in the first edition instead of grey in the 3rd.

    Also you get 4 mounted boards instead of 10 starter kit boards.

    As for the club store you would need to talk (email) to Matt Cicero, to find out if they have the 3rd edition Beyond Valor

    I was thinking 75.00 dollars for it but this is negotiable. The copy is mint and unpunched, and I can bring it to Boxer day event.
