We had eight members in attendance at our August Game Day at Gameology:
Blair Bellamy’s Americans defeated Mike Soffa’s Germans in “Bloody Bois Jacquesâ€.
Eric Visnowski’s Americans and Dan Plachta’s Germans battled to a draw in the huge hedgerow scenario “Ripe for the Pickingsâ€.
Rob Stai’s Chinese and Mike Barton’s Japanese fought to a draw in the AP scenario “800 Herosâ€.
Drew Simon and I took on the 3 scenario series from the new Out of the Attic Magazine. My Brits defeated Drew’s Germans in “Queens Prequelâ€. We then proceeded to the second scenario “Revenge of the Graysâ€, with my Brits again victorious. We then managed to get pretty close to completing the third scenario “Gunter Strikes Backâ€, and finally ran out of time. We declared the third scenario a draw.
And because Blair and Mike’s scenario got over pretty quickly, they took on “Queens Prequelâ€, with Blair’s Brits defeating Mike’s Germans.
It was nice to meet new member Mike Barton, who drove up from Spring Valley in San Diego. And as usual we had a great lunch at The Hat. It was another great day of ASL.
