Just finished reading “The Battered Bastards of Bastogne” by G. Koskimaki. A terrific first hand account of the 101st Airborne in their defense of Bastogne with CCB 10th Armored during the Ardennes Offensive '44. This is a unique history taken from first hand accounts. It's a great reounting from the individual's point-of-view at squad, platoon and company level. If you are an ASL scenario designer this book would be invaluable for scenarios around this battle.

This is book is the third in a trilogy which started with the 101st drop during the D-Day offensive, following with the Market Garden campaign and ending with their defense of Bastogne. All three books follow the same personal account format. Fastinating reading and highly recommend.
