I'm glad to read on Game Squad that Matt Romey made it to the finals after beating up on the sick girl in the first round. I hope he won, as he was my horse for coming out on top. His play in our game was excellent. I learned a great deal, especially about what I need to learn to play better. You're a good man, Matt Romey.
So where are all the juicy AARs with details of who did what, who got drunk, and what all got decided for the club? Whose of us who could not stay the duration need to know!
Also, I'm feeling much better. I think I will finally be over this damn flu in a day or two.

Unfortunately for you, Fred won the Championship for the second time by defeating my Poles in Tanks But No Tanks. It was close at first, and I thought I put up a good fight, but Fred's flawless play wore me down in the end. Congratulations, Fred, for a well deserved win.
A message to all you counter pushers out there. Watch out for this chick. She is deadly serious about ASL. I've seen a lot of players come through the pipe, but not very many with her determination, fortitude and passion for the game. She's been playing full ASL for a few months, I'm scared to find out what kind of player she will be at next year's WCM.
Thanks everybody for a great weekend. It was a pleasant change to play in the tournament instead of a monster scenario, like I have for the past few years. Who knows, maybe Candice and I will meet again next year in the finals.
Oh, to update you on what happened after you left. The Club Elders were re-elected by unanimous voice vote. I left early on Saturday night, but since Rob F. and Brandon L. were playing each other when I left, I can only assume that they got blinding drunk and stayed up to the wee hours of the morning. And Scott Thompson lost a 7 turn monster scenario to Dave. D. in, like, an hour due to, I can only assume, a disastorous setup and execution. You know, same ole, same ole.
See you guys at the BBQ!

Ugh…you don't know the half of it…”disastorous setup and execution” is a compliment compared to the reality of the stinking heap I dropped on the maps. !ill
Semper Fi!
