Hello Friends!
Day 3, no WoWCold Turkey, just like Vantage cigarettes back when.
K, I have 'raid' responsibilities tomorrow (Wed), but after that I'm back on the wagon.

September 3, 2008 at 2:49 pm #5365King ScottMemberGlad to see you going straight and dropping WoW…now if we could just get Cicero to WoW rehab…
Semper Fi!
ScottSeptember 3, 2008 at 2:55 pm #5366David RosnerMemberKeep it up! I have so much more free timenow. When I was playing and raiding it felt like I had a second job.

September 3, 2008 at 8:06 pm #5368testuserMemberSometime I'll regale you guys about my year spent playing Final Fantasy 11 Online. One stint was 2 days straight, no sleep. I lost my life, and quitting was one of the hardest, best, and worst things I ever did.

September 13, 2008 at 12:51 am #5371rdfMemberWoW and Age of Conan – CC will run out in October (with the tough decision to sell the account vs. hold on 'just in case'… currently leaning sell, want the toon's Matthew?)
Warhammer – Looks fun and I think I'll keep it casual PvP (really), I'm done with time slot raiding.I guess I should add that trying to fill the empty space of free time isn't exactly easy.
Figure: 12 hours a week raiding, 12 hours prepping, farming, instancing for that ultimate advancement.
Looks like more time for Scenario Design and Playtesting in ASL, don't you think?Productivity – Do more at home and at work, get to bed earlier and do what's fun.
I've seen more movies, listened to music again, played more guitar, worked on the company website, gotten some excercise, and spent time on VASL.

Frankly have I missed anything? Remember Boot Hill and Bushido? Now those are fun games. Really my favorite was an early professional wrestling FRP. It was great!
You played the role of both the manager and the fighter. You started out doing bouts in backwaters like the Armory Bldg in Victorville…he he he. Working your way up to the big time at the Olympic Auditorium and Vegas. What a hoot! There were different classes like fly weight to super-heavy. Once a super-heavy in a tag team match climbed the ropes and did an A-Bomb, ah the sky darkens….. There are cage matches, tag teams and such. Sub-classes like Heros and Villians, lady wrestlers, and crazed fans like the little ol' lady with the hair pin!
I mean this little gem of game was a scream to play. You gained both $$$ and fan appeal.
September 21, 2008 at 3:25 am #5374rdfMemberWell, almost 3 weeks without WoW now.
Accounts cancelled… I'm on and off on Warhammer for kicks.I'm doing fun stuff like reorganizing my counter trays for ASL. I suggested to Matthew a new scenario idea for the next melee pack. I've gone 'out' for fun. Yep, the shackles have been shattered. Next step is the uninstall, but I am 'curious' about the raid buff and healing changes and might like to see how they work. (Strictly as a point of interest.) Matt ordered his WotLK, I declined, he laughed at me and said 'right'. Nope… done…
