I am going to be playing a VASL game next week and I am setting up for it now. My OB gives me (6) 1/2 inch concealment counter, and I would like to replace some of them with 5/8 inch concealment counters. Is it a one to one swap?

Per A12.2 at the end of the paragraph: When a scenario OB gives a side a number of 1/2-inch “?” counters, the player may
    choose some/all 5/8 inch “'?” counters instead.
this seems to imply that it is a one for one swap, but I am not sure.

Can someone help me out please? If I have missed a rule can you quote it for me also?

    Thanks Mike

    1 for 1 is correct.

So if you want to simulate a vehicle, it takes 2 counters. A gun in non-emplacement terrain (orchard on a paved road), it takes one 1/2 and two 5/8 inch counters.
