February 11, 2011 at 11:50 pm #6097testuserMemberI am thinking about playing that, I don't know about finishing it at a later date, but I think I can commit to the WCM play time.
January 26, 2010 at 10:56 pm #5937testuserMemberBut you nned to remember why the Russians stopped using the Dogs. They were trained by using Russian tanks and when used in the actual battlefield they went back to the familiar sounding Russian tanks.

December 14, 2009 at 4:39 pm #5882testuserMemberI know that the scenerios are different between 1st and 3rd edition, but what about the counters? Are the counters the same in the different editions?
To get me started, I suppose 1st edition would be ok. How much do you want for it?
I was going to pay the fees to officially join the club as a member at the last LA Game day, but it was suggested to me that I wait to join until the Melee in Feb. Is there a 3rd edition Beyond Valor available for members? If so, I could join to be able to pick that up.
Thanks Mike,
ChrisDecember 7, 2009 at 11:33 am #5877testuserMemberI just wanted to thank EVERYONE that helped me learn ASL who was in attendance at this months December LA Game Day. I had a great time, the funnest game I have played in a LONG time. Like I told those in attendance, I have wanted to find someone to play ASL with since I was 12 or 13 years old, and that was over 20 years ago! So thank you everyone for a great time. Trust me, you will be seeing a LOT more of me at the upcoming events!
Just a side note: I live in the Fullerton area, so if there is anyone interested in meeting up sometime to play outside of the regular game days, please send me an email!!!
Thanks again,
Chris CollettOctober 18, 2009 at 11:07 pm #5827testuserMemberI made it to GA, through the wind and the cold safely. It took about three days, but it wasn't that bad a drive. I've moved into a new place, about twice the size and half the rent of the old place in Placentia.
Thanks everyone for the well wishes, and I hope to see you all again. Perhaps at West Coast Melee, or even at ASLOK.
Take care of yourselves and roll low,
